Jill Haglund
President and Founder
Jill founded TweetyJill Publications in 1997, with her first book, The Complete Guide to Scrapbooking. The history of TweetyJill Publications begins with this first title, however, to date TweetyJill has published over 15 books in the art, craft and scrapbooking industry. Jill is very active in her company; her job involves book layout and design, product design and development, client and account relations, along with contributing artwork to her publications when time permits!
Jill’s love of photography and art got her started in this industry. Her favorite kind of art is vintage collage, with a love for Shabby Chic, Romantic and Nature-themed projects. Originally from Ohio, she has spent most of her life in Florida, where she currently resides in Sarasota. Jill has three grown children; her sons Matthew and Jason attend college at the University of Central Florida, while her daughter Lindsay works with her full-time at TweetyJill.
Lindsay Haglund
Managing Editor
Lindsay has been working full-time for TweetyJill since 2007. Her duties include managing the blog, writing the monthly newsletter, assisting with photo shoots and book layout and design, general editing for publications and marketing materials, along with contacting artists and managing the artwork submissions.
Her favorite kind of art is altered art and collage, featured in several of TweetyJill’s titles. Lindsay’s inspiration comes from her mother, Jill, as well as her collection of photographs taken of friends, family, pets and travels. She lives in Sarasota, FL with her two black cats Phoebe and Nala along with assorted reptile pets.
Rick Hernandez
Marketing Director / Partner in TJ Designs
Rick has been employed with TweetyJill since the summer of 2007. His duties include overseas account management, research and product development, along with almost every miscellaneous job you can think of! He is a part investor in TJ Designs, a division of TweetyJill Publications.
Originally from Tampa, FL he spent over twenty years in Basile, LA owning and operating a crop dusting business before moving back to Florida where he currently resides in Sarasota. His favorite kind of art is painting flooded rice fields with fertilizer and rice seeds.
